You have a great start there Dreamweaver. Definitely captured some of the characteristics of the Native American Indian. His nose has a good arc and the jaw line is well done. You did more than alright in your "first try".
The pattern was from Power carver manual #3 I had trouble with the eye and finally had to settle for it . I have a couple walking sticks i've done but am a rookie at carving wish i had discovered it 25 years ago
Just think of the next 25 years of carving you have to look forward to. So many things to try , so little time in one lifetime.
