 fireplace I've been commisioned to carve a fire place mantel in the shape of a water fall. I'm not sure how to do this. If anyone knows of any material that explains how to care water please let me know. Thanks.  |

| Re: fireplace This may help, but you'll need to do a little adapting of technique. Â*In 'Essential Woodcarving Techniques', by Richard Onians, there is a section on carving folded linen drapery; Â*looks a LOT like a waterfall. Â*You would probably have to put some directional breaks in the consistant flow of the drapery model, but it sure looks like it would work, to me. Al |
