Default Finally Finished!

I finally finished this releif just in time for the Sauder's woodcarving show. This was my first of this type of releif carving.I took Diane Harto's class on design and layout of an original carving, which was a great help.It was a challenge and good learning lesson.I have already learned that I am no painter!I have thick skin so an honest critque please, as I want to learn all I can.

The carving itself looks great, get some white and blue paint, mix them together and add some light clouds, the sky is too blue. Takes away from your nice carving! Just my thoughts. Good luck at the show!!!

Very good looking relief carving Don! I would be very proud of that one. The painting looks good.
