| My Face of Glory from Fox Chapel Publishing book Wood Spirits and Green men. Pattern by Susan Irish. Three years ago I was given the opportunity to receive two American virgin spalted maple trees. The trees were 10 ft dia and 8 ft dia. The only conditions were I removed the trees and I produced a carving in the maple so that part of the tree would always be a part of the town. Over time I have thought about many different things that would be of the tree and the town. This was my choice a spirit of the wood and man intertwined. So this is for the Seniors Center in Freetown Ind. I hope you like it . the piece is 15 x 30 x 2 inches Natural oil finished Garry |

He turned out great Garry,I'm sure the township will love you for creating such a memorable piece. The colours and grain in that Maple is something else. Joe.
