Default Elk on a mountain

It's been awhile that I did any carving, had some health issues. The electricians at the Hospital computerized me.
I finally finished the carving on this one. I still have the painting to do. What do you all think of it?

Great, to see some carving coming from you again. I think the 'Elk' turned out really nice. This is one that you wouldn't even have to paint. I like it just the way it is--I like the frame also. Good job!

Hi, Skip....I have to agree with Kathy....I like it unpainted myself....maybe I'd use a light stain, but not much more to it. Nice job...Bonnie

Thanks: Bonnie. Corey,i'm still not sure if it gets paint or light stain. One thing for sure paint will hide some of the screwup's. Skip

Hi Skip,

Great job, beautiful elk. If that's what you do when you're not 100%, I'd like to see your future stuff. Get back to 100% soon.

Looks great Skip, the Elk is fantastic. Sounds like you had the same thing done to you as I did. Lets just hope that there aren't any power surges. Hope you're feeling better.
