Default Dragon

Here is my new one a dragon. Iam I getting any better. I only have all of you to help me get better and practice.

You could also look at the painting and finnishing forum,it will bring a whole new dimension to your carving,you wont know yourself,good job by the way.

That's some really nice work. Might try to get a little deeper and try to make it 3D-ish. That would be neat.
Add some depth by lowering the background and make them "stand" out from the wood so to speak.

Thank you all for the good comments. I did go to the painting and finishing forum was that the one on this forum. I think I'll try a new finish the next time. Try to thin out the oil paints so it will show the wood grain..
