Default cutting board

Hello!
This is a cutting board , made of walnut. It has been carved with the tecnique of "engraving within engraving". This is my best work (until now ), it took 130 hours to make this rosette!
I hope you like it.
Ciao da Massimo

Wow! Masso. You certainly did make the most of that piece of walnut. Beautiful detail. I am glad you took close up pictures that allow us to see it well.
Thanks for showing it to us.

What a novel idea to chip carve inside a chip carvings large chips. This piece brings to the table the ultimate superior sharp knife and magnifying glasses. How large is the rosette? Thanks for sharing!

the rosette has approx a diameter of 23 centimeter.
I forgot to say that all the rosette has been made with 2 knife, n5 and n7 of Codega Knife. First I carved the large parts, and then in the large parts I carved all the triangles, but it was very difficult because of the angle...
I think I will not do a work like this anymore!
