Shimmy,

I have purchased many items from Boxes N Such; http://www.boxesnsuch.com/

Their products are very high quality, and they ship unassembled. I like this because you can draw the pattern with the wood flat, and hold each peice in your lap while carving. A little glue, and a few clamps, and it's really easy to put them together. I have made 2 tissues box covers, a jewelery box, card boxes, and a clock from them, and they all fit together perfectly, and were very clear, high quality basswood. I also like their practice blanks.

Kerbschnitzen,
Dan Heine

Thank you Dan , I will look into that site. The boxes they sell at the ragshop ,look like basswood ,but are very hard.I did a few like the one in the pictures. But had to spray them first with 1/2 x 1/2 alcohol and water.

I checked out the site. It is more money than I'd like to spend. I guess I 've been spoiled with the prices I was paying.Paying 12 - 15 dollars plus shipping is too much. Thanks again.
