CarverRog, aka Roger Strautman received Best of Show at the recent Sauder Village Carving Show in Northwest Ohio (Oct. 24 and 25). The thumbnail photos below are only a teaser because his chip carved piece needs to be seen in person, which can be for those who come to the Artistry in Wood Show in Dayton, Ohio on November 14 and 15. The first photo is of the wings on the panel closed, second is with wings open and the other photos are of close up of sections of the chip carved panels. CONGRATULATIONS! Roger

Congratulations on a fine piece of carving, and being recognized by others as well.
Wonderful to see it here, but I really wish I could see it in person. I'm sure it would take hours just to enjoy looking at it.
