Default Chip carved clock for wedding gift

Here are pictures of a clock I chip carved for my son and his new wife. The wood is a 2"x8"x10" piece of basswood. I finished it with Watco Danish rubbing oil in Golden Oak and then sprayed it with Minwax Polycrylic. The clock works and hands were bought from Klockit.com. Comments and criticism is welcome

Nicely done!

I like the carved knot in the center, appropriate for the occasion.
