Finished the Sitting Bull project . The frame is spanish cedar with a pecan stain and poly sealer. Sitting bull is in golden oak danish oil and tung oil . Hope you like it . Garry |

Just beautiful! Those small changes really made the difference. His foreground shoulder has an accurate slant into the neck area. The texture design to the shawl works very well to accent the v-line of his throat and collar area. The feathers work much better. But ... the best is that you off set the Chief to the frame. Letting a touch of the feathers in his head dress extend beyond the frame area makes him separate and so more important then the frame or scene ... both of which are accents to him. He, the Chief, is the important subject and the glass carving in the frame tells us 'why' he is important. Once again, very nice. Susan |
