Default black bear with cub

Ready to carve a welcome sign for our Vermont wilderness cabin. We're thinking of a black bear w/cub scene, but can't really settle on a pose & view. The welcome sign will be approx 18x24.

Any suggestions or great photos you can share?

thanks

Ripton... I carved a couple of bear reliefs based on some things that I found when I Googled. I think that it's just a matter of looking at enough pictures and deciding which one's flip your switch....and whether you want caricature or real life. If you PM me with your email address I'll send you the pic's of the two reliefs. I mounted both on bass wood slabs.

thanks, I think we have it. A relief of our cabin with the cub scratching up the front porch post, with the Sow either sitting or standing on the walkway watching... Will post a sketch when I get it drawn up...
