Default Bear & Wolf relief

I haven't posted a relief for awhile so I thought I would post my most recent one. It is carved in Spanish Cedar and measures 22"X18 X4. This particular carving was a great challenge to do with so much depth but it is not any fun unless it is a challenge.

Hey Ron you are alive, nice to see you posting again. Not too shabby for a blind guy. Ron you never cease to amaze me for the new people on this site you should know that Ron is totally blind. I have had the privilage of spending some time with Ron a few years back and one thing you will learn very quickly from him that he is no shape or form disabled. A great human being and even greater carver these creations take him hundreds of hours to do all by feel. I know that I couldnt do even half as good being sited. Again Ron fabulous work

Thanks everyone. Colin great to hear from you my friend.. I loved the challenge of this carving it took me a little over a year to complete. This is one of those carvings that have so much perspective that I felt more comfortable working on it off and on. It started out as a totally different background. It was slated to be a desert floor background with a few trees but I had to adlib a little when I made a few errors in depth and perspective. But I am very pleased with the results. Again Thanks for the comments.

Beautiful carving, Ron! The deep relief is really good and the animals very realistic!
