Default Basswood supplier

Hi gang. I am teaching my daughter to relief carve and I am looking for a supplier for basswood in either 3/4" OR 1" thick, 9"x12" - 12"x12" (any help would be appreciated). If you carve hardwoods, check out those garage sales for old furniture and desks. I just picked up a solid oak 4'x8' desk top for $5. What a score.
Thanks - Ric

Got some basswood and a piece of butternut yesterday from Heinecke and once again I am very pleased. They are very quick to ship things out and the wood comes in just the way carvers like it!

I get my wood locally, but there's a company here in northern MN, that sells kiln dried stock. I've never bought from them, but they're a reputable company, that's been in the business for many years.
