Default Barton's book "New & Traditional Styles of CC

Page 100 of Barton's book described in the title.
Chip Carving 027.jpg
It measures 12" X 18" X 7/8" T.
The story behind this carving: a friend of mine inquired whether I could use some Butternut wood he had. It was quite some time before we got together again for me to acquire the Butternut. As we are going out to his shop he's apologizing all over the place. He planed some of it down and it was all covered in holes, he said. That's no problem, I replied as I slunk away with my treasure of Wormy Butternut.

Very nice Mackc! I hope you made sure those little hole dwelling critters have left for good.

Thanks for sharing.

You certainly made a treasure from your wormy wood. That is incredibly beautiful.
