Thats a really good looking plate, you keep cranking them out. You make it look like it's very easy. Skip

Very pretty.

Do you make your own plates? Or, do you purchase the blanks, and if so where?

Hi kitaye; I had a friend make them for me, but he seems to have flown the coop. I don't know where he has gotten to!

Seeing as how you are in ON, try here www.chippingaway.com

Now tell me where South Lancaster is?

I've placed a couple orderswith Chipping Away already. I like their pattern books and wood blocks.

South Lancaster is as far east on Hwy 401 as you can get before you cross into Quebec, unless you count Curry Hill Truck Stop. It is a hamlet of about 700 people, I'm guessing.

It is quite an old area and several homes around here are listed in the Historical Database as being significant. In the 1700 to 1800's this was a rather important town as it was the last stop along the St Lawrence before goods had to be transferred to wagon to get past Cornwall Rapids. It was also built on the original Toronto to Montreal highway so several houses along the main road used to be Inns and Stage Stops.

I know that was more information than you wanted. Sorry for being a bit chatty.

I always thought Rivier Beaudette was the last municipality in ON before you cross into PQ.

Never heard of that place. I've only been into Quebec once and the drivers scared me to death. Haven't been back since. It took us 3 minutes to get on the 401 and another 20 or 30 to reach the Quebec border. I didn't see any other exits except Curry Hill until after I crossed over.

Do you know where Cornwall is? We're 20 minutes further East. Lancaster is north of the highway and South Lancaster is south of the highway.
