Default Again...chip carving

Hi guys,

while working on three more challenging project, just to relax I have done this alder pot for my wife; it is for the wooden spoons used while cooking.
Alder is not very suited for fine chip carving, but working with prudence it is possible to obtain nice results. The front drawing is from the Wayne Barton book; I have added a "dentel" contour to highlight the drawing. On the back "just to play", I tried a more classical rosette.
Cheers.
Paolo
