Default Re: We get off topic sometimes

Hey Will,
Threads are sometimes the really fine line that connects what we say to what the next person says. It's a stretch, but we're trying harder to stay on topic--or start a new topic. Like I have said before, most of us do well to remember what we leave the room to get, let alone remember what the original question was!!!

Anyway, this board is set on Greenwich (I can't even remember how to spell it now) time. To change your own post, go to the User CP in the top left corner of our tool bar on this page. Click on User CP, then go to Settings and Options, then Options, and scroll down pretty far on the page to DATE AND TIME ZONE and you can set your messages to reflect AUTOMATICALLY DETECT DST. That should post your message at your Daylight Standard Time. I can't remember if you have to scrolll on down to the bottom of the page and save it.

I think that should do it, but it's been about a month since I reset mine. Good Luck . Donna T

Cool Re: We get off topic sometimes

Donna,

Thanks for the info. After I sent my message yesterday, I was fooling with this site and found where to change my time. Working full time I do most of my "writing" during slow times at work so I may get in the wrong thread as I just start typing and keep going and going to get out all my thoughts. And as you say, those of us "over 50" sometimes forget what we started to say or do in the first place! LOL

Now if I could just figure out how to get the different smilies in different places in my messages I would be happy!
