Unhappy Re: How to upload images to Carver Galleries

Hi,

I just tried it again and it still does not work. Do you think my picture is just too big? Do I need to resize it? If so, what size seems to work best?

Rob, That seemed to work as I upload 2 pictures, One in bark area and the other in Cane and sticks area. I wouldn't think I had used up the memory as it stated .

Chipper, I have resize all mine to around 480x360 and after Rob increased the memory for me the rest of mine load fine. May try resizing.

Thanks Kenny_S, that's what I had to do. It works. I uploaded some pictures I did over the holidays.

Dave,

Only ADMINS have deletion privilages...what ones do you want deleted? FYI when you put the photos under different categories, it uploads a photo for each of those categories...which might be why you have more than one image!

Thanks Bob. I suspected that was the case after I did it. Could you please delete any two of the Flag Carousel Horse. Thanks.

Bob,

Once photos are uploaded into the gallery, what is the best way to link the photo's to a message in the message board? Is there a way to hot link from the message board to the photos I upload in the gallery?

Also, will you be at the Lancaster Wood Carving show at MU? Would love to see you!

Gary

Gary,
I'd use the html link function--or just upload the photo again as an attachment. I'm not sure about how to html works--I usually just upload it using the manage attachments function...

And yes, my wife and I will be at the show again this year! I'll be bringing a friend who I've taught the basics of carving!

I have been trying to upload pictures to carvers galleries. It says they have been uploaded successfully, but I cant seem to find them. I uploaded to birds. I must be doing something wrong. Thanks, Paul
Flash- Bobd walked me through it. I needed to resize my pictures.

Paul,

Let me know the filenames of the pictures you uploaded and I can see if our server received them. In addition, you can email me one of the images for me to try to upload.

Thanks,
