Default Trygg

Hi
I found an old carving in my closet. I was wondering if anyone had heard of it. It is an old sailor and it looks stained rather than painted. He has Albertina and an anchor painted on his chest. There is a signature on the bottom it is CJ Trygg Sweden Carved in Canada 1928. Has anyone heard of this carving. I was going to sell it at a garage sale for $1.00 but thought better of it when I saw the signature. Does anyone know how much it is worth.

I'm closing this due to duplication...

Depends on a lot of things. If it is a Trygg carving could be worth a fair piece. Dont sell it for a dollar. I will give you $2.00 for it.

Just entered CJ Trygg in the google search, and found all the information the person might want about this man and his carvings.
