Right now, I think I'm going to leave things how they are for a couple months--for two reasons
1. to see how they work out
2. I don't have time to fuss with learning the software right now

If you've got an opinion, or a feeling, please let me know!

Bob

Time and outside interferences being what they are, I still think the fewer topics the better, if you are looking at caricatures and trying to catch up or keep up, not sure you want to have to go to a wip thread with all kinds of things to look at or find a caricature in progress? Seems to me our original site and the idea when we came here was to keep the number of threads down to a minimum and keep it simple.............

Hey Bob, I vote for leaving it as it is too..
Keeping it simple works for me.

I'm good as-is too.....for now.

We could do a little more moderating to help keep the site less cluttered. This would not reduce the number of topics, but control the number of threads within the topics. Also - as example - In the GENERAL CARVING forum: "new stuff, and common problem" thread, I added "painting" to the topic thread. This gives viewers an idea of subject and also allows the system to list similar threads to this subject.

This is especially true as we gain new members - which we are still doing at around 2/day.

Mitch
