I'll ask Claudio to check into it. In the meantime, if you use Firefox, there is a free plugin called United States English Dictionary 3.0.3 you can install (just google it) and it will underline the words you misspell (kinda like Word does).

Hey Bob, do you think it would make a difference if some don't use Firefox for there Browser? All of the sites I saw are for Firefox.

Unfortunately, it's just for Firefox...IE doesn't have an equivalent that I know of...a good reason to switch to firefox (in addition to the fact that it's less vulnerable to virus attacks)...<GRIN>

Well, for what it's worth, the forum spell checker seems to work just fine on my Mac using Safari. It underlines words that are spelled incorrectly, and if I then right-click on the word, it gives me a list of possible correct spellings.

Hi Claude,
I think that's a function of your browser; the forum spell checker acts like the spell checker in word...it opens a window and goes through what you've typed, highlights the words it thinks you misspelled and offers suggestions. Firefox underlines the words and when i right click on them gives me options, but that's because of the Addon I have.

BobD, I would like to be able to use Firefox but both times I've set it up on two different computers I have problems in a few weeks with it. So I'm reluctant to try again. So I'll stick with something that works <Grin>

You're right! I just checked and my Edit menu has a "check spelling while you type" option that I have turned on.
