slow server??? slow server???

Default slow server???
not sure if this is the right place for this post but: I have a pretty fast PC. When I log onto the Forum, the time it takes to go from one thread to another takes what seems like a long, long time. Is it because the Forum server is overloaded?? Sometimes it just hangs up requiring multiple key taps to get on.

sounds like something on your end? Maybe your provider?

Any number of things can cause that. If we're getting hammered by spam bots (happens randomly), it can slow down. If your ISP is getting heavy use, it can slow things down. If your computer is performing a task in the background, it can slow down...

Unfortunately, it's difficult to diagnose a problem like this.

fur shur but I can say that the only problem I have is with the Forum. Everything else, works fine. No problem elsewhere with slow response, stalls, etc. My PC is up to date with the latest memory and ram upgrades . So I can only conclude that the problem is with the Forum server.??
