Terry nailed it. There are times where we're seeing the processors for the forums spiking to 500% normal usage...at that point everything slows down. This mostly happens during high traffic times (morning, lunchtime, and evening) when more people are visiting the site AND spammers are attacking. We're working on banning spammers IP addresses not only on the forum level, but on the server level, so hopefully we'll get it straightened out soon.

So, yes, it's on our end. And yes, it's because of the bloody spammers!

Thanks Bob! Don't think I am complaining about anything. I know you folks work your butts to keep this site moving along, and it's appreciated. I just don't know enough about computers to know when I've done something to cause problems and slow ups at my end.

Thanks again.

I'm having problems too! I can't get photos to upload. It's only happening with this site.

What browser are you using, Ron? What error message are you getting? Have you been able to upload photos in the past? This might be related to the overloaded processer, but it could be something else as well...

My browser is Safari. The photo just never uploads. How do I delete a thread? I clicked on the button that says "edit/delete" but I couldn't find the option to delete. I want to delete the thread until I can get the corresponding photo to upload. Thanks!

Have you uploaded photos before? Send me a link and I'll delete the thread. I've not used safari, so I'm not as familiar with it. I'll ask our web guy to check it out.
