Default Shipping woodcarving tools overseas

I am moving to America Samoa
Does any carvers out there have any info on how I could safely ship some of my tools to continue carving and possibly teach classes?
I am sure airlines and other countries have certain guidelines etc
Thanks

Hand tools such as knives and gouges can be taken with you in your checked luggage. You can't carry on board, but it's ok to put them in checked luggage.

Power tools would need to be shipped with your household goods...

Since American Somoa is a U.S. Territory, you could box up some of your favorite knives and hand tools in one of the U.S. P o s t Office's flat rate boxes. insure them and pay a little extra for tracking.
