I'm puzzled. I do not seem to be able to present my carving photos in a manner that elicits comments (no star rating chart, etc.). I suspect that I didn't check a box or two when I joined, however, I would like some advice on how to seek this kind of feedback. Kirk |

Kirk, I assume that you mean in the gallery - I will need to check into that. I know that there is an option, but can't remember how to turn it on/off. |

When you hit the "Upload Photos" button, you come the page to put in the picture and also make other options. On that page there are options to receive comments and ratings...actually two separate lines (yes or no boxes).

The best way to insure the widest number of carvers see your carvings is to post them here with your post. When you start your thread just use the "attachments" function. There you can either attach photos from your computer or by the photos URL or web location. You can also use the URL function and attach a photo directly to your post by just clicking on the photo icon above the comment window. That's the way I do it as it puts the photo directly in front of the viewer without them having to do anything! Like this! ![]() My advice would be to use the Gallery section for photos you want to retain over time.

I agree with Lynn.... I seldom look at the galleries, but I always look at the new posts. For me the galleries are just nice pictures....no room for the carvers or others to really comment. I find the galleries really too much trouble to look at.
