Hi HO , I was told that you could get iron wood of of private land same as sajaro cactus veins was I miss guided . You was a cop I should trust you, cause I have a bunche here that I picked up at a flea market in Yuma

anything of that type, you have to have a certificate of where it was taken from, we were camping in Burro Creek and some guy took down two standing dead Saquaro's that were only ribs left...they were confiscated and cost him 1800.00 each I understand...as for ironwood, anything you find now is usually from Mexico...You can check with any dept of agriculture office , to get the story of the latest rules etc.... I have a letter in each vehicle that says I can take dead and down ...ie ocotillo , saquaro ribs etc, but the problem is.....this is only on BLM....Az State lands do not allow this! I contacted my Senator and he in turn contacted the Dept of Agriculture and they responded with this letter....
