Default Repetition of 3 Messages

Is it common when turning pages in the "Message" area to get 3 repeated threads from the previous page? In fact I think the same repeated threads may be from the first page. I'm sure you've been asked this probably hundreds of times but I wouldn't know how to search for my answer.

The "stickies" are repeated at the top of every page...

Bob

PS, I moved this from the author questions section to the Message Board questions sections...

"stickies" are threads that are stuck to the top of a forum. They will always be at the top - regardless of if they have had recent posts in them.

Normally, if a thread does not have active posts, it falls down the list. By being stuck or pinned, it is always at the top - even when you go to back pages in a forum, those treads are again at the top of each page.

No, it's intentional. One of the moderators or I felt that those posts are too valuable to let them slip down and be forgotten, so we "stuck" them to the top.

Hope this helps.
