Default Receiving E-Mail

For some reason my E-mail from Woodcarving Illust. stopped . What do I do to start receiving it again? I'm lost without it. Merle

Default Re: Receiving E-Mail

If you mean the emails that tell you when someone has posted to a thread you have subscribed to, go up to the green bar and click on User CP, then in the new window, on the left side under Control Panels, in section Settings & Options, click on Edit Options. In the new panel that comes up, under Messaging & Notification, second item down, is Default Thread Subscription Mode. There is a pull-down menu, and if you select Instant Email Notification, you'll start getting emails every time someone responds to a message thread you've read. There's also an option here to only get a daily notification, or a weekly notification.

I had this turned on for Instant Notification for quite some time, but eventually turned it off, as my email inbox was filling up with notifications. Now, I have myself set to automatically log in to the forum, and all I have to do is click on the New P osts link in the green bar above. All the new p osts that have been made since I last logged in are listed, no matter which forum they were in.

Hope this helps,
Claude
