Default Quiz help for the number 10

Hi... this is my first post. I have been carving since 1988 and for the last ten years 2 of my friends ( the three of us call ourselves the Wood Too's) have been entertaining the carvers after our annual show dinner. I usually create a woodcarving placemat and contest for the predinner acitivity. I would like to add the 10 Commandments of woodcarving to the contest page in honour of our 10th year. Anybody have any suggestions ? Clean of course, as we do have some junior members present.

Thou shalt not cut thyself!! etc.

Also , I am looking for 10 letter carving words for a word scramble.

Things that come in 10's has been a little more difficult. So far I have come up with 10 fingers, 10 toes, 10 pin bowling, a #10 envelope and Dave Letterman's top ten list. Also #10 Downing Street. If anybody has any ideas I would appreciate it. Contest has to be ready for March 29th , our show dinner date. Thanks

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's super sharp tools.
Thou shalt not worship wood spirits or caricatures, but you can carve them.
Thou shalt honor thy fellow member's carving skills whether beginner or expert.

1)Thou shalt not bleed ! (Red spots don't look good on natural finish.)

2)Thou shalt pay attention! (Is that a chunk of skin?)

3)Thou shalt not try to catch falling tools! (How many stiches, Doc!)

4)Thou shalt not use unidentified wood with three leaves! (Did you say Poisin Ivy? Doc!)

Hope this works for you! Have fun. Brian

Ahhhh, gee, Mitchell,
I didn't do that this time...honest. I did it twice back in 1990 and have been blamed for it every time it happens every since then. Even when I'm not there!

Thou shalt honor they father or mother's carvings and not ask if you can have it when they die!

Thou shalt be quick to praise thy fellow carvers's carvings--slow to criticize.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's new Ram micromotor power carver, nor his new Stubai veiner, nor her 3M sanding discs, nor their Wood Carving Illustrated Issue #1.

Thou shalt take the Lord's name in vain, even when you've just broken a carving that you've worked on all day--or super glued your fingers together when trying to repair the carving

Remember the club carving meeting date and keep it sacred.

I'm not sue any of these can be used, but they're awlfully close to home!
