It sure is strange the way some threads act, sometimes going to the second page of a thread that appeared to be wide on page one appears correctly on page two. This happened to me on the Bandsaw set up thread and also on the First attempt on Pete LeClair... thread. I'm using 1024 x 768 on a 19" wide LCD monitor. Cheers OG |

I assume you are using Internet Explorer? I just noticed it interprets some of the layout of the forum differently then all other browsers. All others that I have tested with (firefox, safari, opera, and chrome) fit everything correctly at 1024x768. I just wanted to confirm this is the case, so that I can research a workaround. If so what version are you using? Thanks |

I'm assuming your question is directed to Tvance124, but just for info sake I'm using Firefox 3.03 and the difference in thread width shows up as I stated yesterday. I just checked using I.E. 6 same results as posted, checking with Opera 9.52 same results as posted yesterday. Cheers OG Quote:

I wanted to let you know that I'm looking into this issue, but I'm not sure how far we are going to get with it as is. We are in the planning stages of a redesign for the whole site currently, so we are going to be putting more effort into getting that going and tested out, and working out these types of issues on the new design rather then trying to fix some of the existing display issues on the current site. I'm not promising a timeframe at this point, but we are currently about 75% done with the foxchapelpublishing.com site right now, and will move onto this and the scrollsawer.com site once that's done. I'm real excited about the redesign, from seeing the early work on the Fox Chapel site it feels like a night and day difference. |
