I was on my wife's computer and do not have the new address for the message board under her favorites. I did a search through yahoo and google putting in "Wood Carving Illustrated" and both times ended up at the old address. There are some messages there, from some members, who probably did something similar without realizing they were at the old location. One thing I have encountered at other sites, that have moved, is a message that the address has changed, and somehow they automatically move you to the new site.

The old message board is still live as well as the entire Carving World site. No redirects are in place at this time. As far as the board we have no admin privelages to inactivate the board.

Currently, I am working on creating redirects but this is taking longer then expected. The delay is due to creating redirects that transfer search engine rankings from the entire Carving World website to the new Wood Carving Illustrated website. I want to maitain our high search engine rankings.

In the short term, I have been emailing any new members along with any new posts a message telling them to go to the new site. I know it is not the best way but it seems to be working for now...

Thanks for the explanation just wanted you to be aware that a search takes you to the olds site. I love the new one.
