Angry Re: new DIY carving programs?

Hi_Ho_Sliver,

I was wondering that too so I had contacted the people at DIY website and they basically just told me no. They cannot or just do not want to sell any videos, dvd's, or cd which I do not understand why not. I told them they should because I'm sure they could make $ doing so. Anyway, that's all I know about it.

We're trying...but I'd suggest writing to those networks suggesting that they do something on carving...and suggest they use us as a resource!!!!

hey all do as bob suggested and keep emailing DIY,HGTV,Discovery home or any channel you might think will carry it or Directv directly and suggesting more woodcarving programming.I recently upped my subscription to try and get more art and artists programming and much to my disgust I kind of wasted my money and so I emailed them and asked for more woodcarving and art and artists programming! Also told them how much I enjoyed the one woodsculpting series they had 5 episodes of that I had to stay up until 1 a.m. to see!!Squeaky wheels get grease!!Im paying top dollar and still not seeing what I want to see! Im going to squeak and squeak and squeak!! haha Lazyj

Gosh darn it! I've only got the Dish-120 programming and I just can't fork out another $100./year for the next programming package that has DIY!! Heck, I'm already paying about $450./year after they upped my package by 9% this year... but I paid it!

I'd rather pay $200./year for the ten channels of my choice but the programmers know that we're addicted and will pay just about anything just like we'll pay anything for gasoline so I guess that'll never happen.

Rant over. Thanks for listening :-)
