I have a ad in the classified for carving books.I would like you to read it and figure out what it shows. I keep getting emails asking if it is $5 for all the books or for one.I have tried to edit it a few times It is $5 each plus the postage.I have changed it but it does not show up in the ad.Why?

Shimmy. Sometimes it takes a little time for Bob to approve edits. It shows you only have one book, but that could be figured as $5 for each book. You also show none for the postage, so you could try to edit that also. Maybe by Monday it will repost. Good luck, Tom |

That is the problem with the ads.If you click on that picture it will show the other books. It does not seem to be set up properly.I also put it that postage is what ever the U.S. mail charge is.That also did not show. And I did this a few times ,with no changes.and no replies from them.People are asking if all 6 books are for $5. Which is ridiculous.Check it out. Thank you Shimmy

Unfortunately, Shimmy, the areas (fields) you are trying to change are number only fields. You can not add ordinary text to those fields (which is why the forum will not accept $5 each or your text explaining about the shipping price. I would suggest you add a separate ad for each book. I'd put down the shipping for each book as the priority flat-rate envelope; most books individually fit into those envelopes. Bob |

Thank you Bob,As I wrote this has been going on for months with no reply.I was about to delete the whole mess.I am now in the middle of a proposed sale. How would I go about setting it up like that.First deleting everything?Well I may as well wait til I finish this transaction. Thanks again |

Hi Shimmy, I was struggling with finding an answer for months until yesterday it occurred to me what the issue was. I'm a writer not an IT guy, so my subconscious needs to work on these things for a while before I can figure them out. Bob |
