Default How about more articles on sculptural carving?

'Lo y'all
I don't really do 'whittling' type projects; I lean more twords the sculptural side of things (like Jeff Phares or Wyland's stuff). Could you get some more articles that'll help us out with the details on how to do those things?

Thanks
Sean

Thank you for the suggestion. We keep a running list of all article suggestions, and this will now be added to it. When we choose articles for each issue, we review the list to see what our readers are looking for. This helps us make sure our magazine gives our readers exactly what they are asking for.

Rather than an article on the subject it would be better if you got a book or took a class. Sculpting is quite an art in itself. Taking an art class in sculpting at a university or college would greatly benefit your cause. Jeff does some seminars and you could learn a lot from him during one of those. As far as learning from a book it is more difficult if you have not ever done it before.

Please include patterns in the article! Good patterns and photos if possible.
