Naw - you were clear enough - just my warped mind attempting to be humorous. Several of the old world painters/sculptors did Madonna and child as a subject. If you put "famous madonna and child paintings" into Google, then click on images, you'll see a couple hundred at least. Same thing works for sculpture if you substitute the word "statues" for "paintings" and do a new search...

Patrick Spielman had a book segmentation that had a neat madonna and child . It should easily be turned into a carving. We just moved and I am not able to find the book .
