I need help to refer to an old thread. How do you link an old thread to a new thread?

If you can find the old thread, just copy the complete URL from the top of your browser screen and paste it into the new thread. For example: First cane

If you want a specific post from the earlier thread, in the green bar at the top of each individual post is a white "#1" or "#8" or whatever. Click on this and the URL at the top of the screen changes. Cope this and paste in the new thread. For example:
First cane

Note: the WCI forum server automatically converts the URL (http : //xxxxxx stuff) to a clickable link and gives it the same name as the thread it comes from.
