Default Hey Rob!

Hi Admin

So I signed up for a new forum to me at www.rakscraps.com It's a digital scrapbooking forum. And low and behold when you post to this forum it has an automatic SPELLER CHECKER that flags your incorrect spelling .... right in the posting area

Just thought you might like to go check it out.

Thanks, Susan

HI Susan,

Great Idea. Spell check has been installed. I'm still trying to implement it in the quick reply.

Rob, Thank you for your time, effort and even that you would consider adding this feature if possible ... it (a spell checker) would save me many embarassing moments here on the forum!

Thank you!!

OK, how do you work this thing....ovbiously I haven't figgered it out! and if it really does work, what will I have to criticize Susan about? Sure not her carving or patterns. You guys are just trying to take ALL the fun out of this.

Al

Rob,

Thanks for the spell check! It works great!

Al, type your post as normal, but click on spell check first--button to right of Preview post and Submit Reply buttons below message window where you type your message.

Another box will open, and then whatever is highlighted in red either change by typing it in, or using the suggestions listed. Otherwise, just click on "ignore", or "ignore all" in case of the word being typed several times in your message, e.g. Al Archie. If you correct a word that's used throughout your message, then click on "Change all", e.g. "hte" being corrected to "the".

Hope this helps!

Al, please don't worry. I am very capable of typing my foot into my mouth without having to depend on bad spelling.

This is too good to be true, I just checked on the SSWC site and it is there too.
Now if there was a Canadian version that would be something again.
I guess it would have to be a different colour though.
