Default Get notice of Private Message but no message

Several times this has occurred, the latest just yesterday, I get a notice in my E-Mail that I have a Private Message waiting on WCI site, only to go to the site and find no message there? Not sure what's happening! Can't recall who the message was from.

A glitch? Or is my mind going ....... further!

Bob

Bob,
I got one last week, too, but there wasn't a message waiting for me. Just figured it was a new kind of spam and heaven knows, there are so many folks out there with nothing better to do than to mess with our computers!

If it's a case of "the mind going", then you'll have lots of company when we all get there. Take care.

I can go in and delete all of the private messages a spammer sends (even if you haven't opened them yet. In the past couple weeks, I've received private messages or had private messages from spammers forwarded to me. I've just gone in and deleted all of the messages the spammers sent. So, if you get a message that you've got a new private message, and when you log in, it's gone, chances are it was a spammer where I deleted all the messages they sent.

Best Regards,

Thanks Bob, I appreciate the explanation.

Well Donna, it looks like our minds aren't quite as far gone as we thought. Just technology we don't understand and never will!!!

:-)
