Most of the problems surrounding the "remember me" button are based on how your computer handles "cookies."

Cookies are small harmless files put on your computer by different sites you visit. In order for the message board software to remember you, you must allow it to put a cookie on your computer. That way, when you navigate away from the message board and come back, the software looks for that file and recognizes you (so you don't need to log in again).

If this is a new thing, you may have a corrupt cookie that needs to be deleted.

The first thing I'd do is go under your security settings and delete your cookies. Then check your security settings. Make sure you allow cookies.
