is there a way to perminately disable theseHappy crazy little pictures that jump onto without having to go to each post your making and disable them in each p o s t before you submitt?

Thomas, If you do the full post rather than the quick reply, there is a little check box under the Additional Options labeled "Disable Smiles in Text." Check that box and your smilies will disappear. |

thanks bob d, i was aware of that option but was wondering if there was a way of turning them off perminately, as i know some others like to use them. my vote would be to kill them if it made any difference.. i just hate to come back after submitting a post and have to sort out and decypher what i was writing when them little buggers pop in and make picture graphs out of a reply.. guess its a thing to put up with....
