Default Where do the pictures go ?????

I am curious about where the pictures go after putting them in a post. I thought they would show up in my gallery. NOT. So, do we need to put them in the post and then in the gallery as well?

Thanks,

if you want to post the picture in the gallery and and have it in the message base,
the easiest way is upload it to your gallery, then go to the photo, find image propertys, copy the address, then post in the message base, use just use the icon to make a link to your gallery in the post,

this way you only upload images one time.

if you direct link the gallery image to the post so the image shows in the message post it can really mess with the text formatting and make the text several screens wide if the image is really big...

now i got that clear as mud.. ill move on...
