Default Difference between My photos and My Albums

I am not sure I understand the difference between the my photos and the my album. I have posted pics to the My Photos part of things. I have even set up two albums - nothing in them.

1. What is the difference? Do photos posted to my album go into the same My Photo section?

2. If the two are separate, can I copy all the My Photo pics I have in the forum into an album in one step? Or do they need to be loaded from my computer's My Pictures section one at a time through a browser connection like I do with My Photos?

My Photos shows all of the photos you have uploaded; you can upload photos to a variety of albums (relief carving, animal carving, your album, etc.). My Album goes right to your member gallery (your album).

I think I can move them en masse...drop me a line and let me know what you want moved where!

Thanks for the info Bob. Further question. If I upload a photo, can I send to more than one album at the same time? For example, I have a pic of a bark carving, can I send to the Bark/Found wood albun and to an album of my own entitled, say, K Karver's Bark Carvings? Or can a photo be sent to only one album at a time? Or can it be in only one album at a time?

Thanks for you patient attention.

Hi John,
You can put a photo in several categories, but in order to simplify things, the forum puts a copy of the photo in each of those categories...which means that when you just click on the Carver Gallery, you are going to see your photo several times in the "Recently Added Photos" area.
