Alice, did you remove the "cookies" from your hard drive? Under "Properties" on your Internet Explorer there is a properties section with a box for removing cookies (those little files that link you to these sites) and if these are removed, you have to pick them up again as you browse the internet, and one of the things you have to do on some sites, is to re-register. Just a thought.

Alice, those files and cookies that accumulate in your "Temporary Intenet" folder, will eventually slow your computer down. There isn't really any reason to delete these files unless your computer has slowed noticeably, or if it is giving you other problems.

When you do delete them, however, you will have to re-register on most of the sites you normally visit. You'll just have to work around these two parameters........speed vs. convienience.

Thanks Al, My "Fritz" still works great, I do a lot of maintenance regular to make sure I am not overloaded. It still is a miracle to me how that thing works, one only notices it when it quites.
Thanks again Alice
