Default carving waves

i thin lyn has done some waves with a cannoe, and squarbrid bob has done some,
but any idea how to make a wave like the ones the surfers used, not the big ones for the north shore but good size,
got a grandson over in the mideast and love surffing,
so thinking about carving,if i can a surferon a wave
any help here?
