Do you think it would be easier to upload to the carvers gallery if there was a short cut on each persons UserCP? That way we would not have to search through the index of users to find the page. Just an idea. If it is already there can you tell me where? Thanks,

It takes 2 clicks of the mouse, Terry. Make sure you are logged in, then 1. On the left side under "Carving Community", click on "Carver Galleries" 2. In the new screen that comes up, on the right had side, look for "Home · Search · Profile · Upload Photos" in a green bar. Click on "Upload Photos" Claude |

Thanks Claude. I was all over the place and could not see that thing for looking at it. Duh!!! Is there a way to move pictures from a thread to the gallery? Keep carvin'

Might be, but I haven't found it yet. You could put the photos in the gallery first, and then just reference them in the post. For example, here's one of the photos in my gallery: ![]() To make this work, I had to look below the photo in my gallery where there is a box called "HTML Code". I copied this part out of what was there: http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.co.../DSCF0714a.jpg Then on the front of it I put [ img] and on the back I put [ /img ] which tells the computer that what is inside is an image that needs to be displayed. When you do this, it looks like [ img ] http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.co.../DSCF0714a.jpg[ /img/] except that I did it with no spaces between the square brackets and the img code. I had to insert spaces here, or the photo would have shown up again. For example, using this code (without the spaces) [ img ] http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.co...m/100_3346.JPG [ /img ] shows this: Look familiar? ![]() Claude |

Sounds good. Although there is no size limit for pictures in the gallery and there is for the threads. I don't remember putting that picture in the gallery. I think at one time there must have been some automatic feature that did it cause I did put it in a thread. Not an example of my best effort on that angel. Keep carvin'

I had to add this to my favorites so I can come back when needed, thanks for the great explanation Claude. Carl
