I have been trying for an hour or so to post to the author questions. Thought I would try another area.

Now this one got through. Why can't I get a new thread in the area I want? It says that my new post is going through; but, when I check the board, and my bio for all posts, I find that it did not make it!

My post finally made it. Now, why can't I delete this one?

Paul,
The Author forum is moderated--which means that I or one of the moderators needs to approve the message before it is posted.

A lot of the authors don't check the board daily, so i've set it up so that when a person posts a message there, it is e-mailed to the author--that way they can come by and answer the question.

That said, we had a few glitches with that system, so to protect the authors, we made that a moderated forum.

I validated your post, so they should appear now.

Thanks Bob, this board is one of the most enjoyable and important things on the web, to me. I was afraid that my compter, or some other gremlin, had cut me off from communication. I was wondering how I was going to get back on board.
