Bob, I have several pictures in your archive, but since they are not titled( not that I can see) I don't know what they are. is there any way to identify them? I can see them when I want to search for pictures. It tells you what I know:-) When I want to post a picture I am told there are already in another post. Is there help for me? Thanks Alice |

Alice, If you rename your picture you can repost it. It is also possible that your pic , is in a thread and not the gallery , if it is inside a thread you will still have to change the name . The reason being is the internet has to have a single of anything. The type of format used on the pic is what is beinging listed , as bmp is bitmap , doc document .... ect txt is text file , zip is a zip file Hope this helps. Ash |

Alice, Are the pic posted here? I see you were giving links to another site that had some of your carvings. I could only find 3 of them here. Unless I missed them in a post. |

Hi There Ash, thanks for helping. do you see the numbers in one of my posts above? this is what I see when I want to post a picture and I don't know what that all is? If there would be a title or something to identify those # I have no idea which pictures the resemble. Alice |

Alice: Those numbers are telling you what size photos are allowed for each different format. For example: jpg 2.38 MB 780 580 means that in jpg format (also called jpeg and jpe), you can a photo that has a maximum size of 2.38 MegaBytes, and has dimensions of 780 pixels wide by 580 pixels high, maximum. As long as your phto is smaller than the dimenstions listed, the forum will accept it; if the photo is larger than any one of those dimensions, the forum rejects the photo. All the other listing (such as gif, pdf, png, tiff, etc.) are just different formats for photos. Depends on what format your camera or photo editing software saves the photos as. Claude |
