Accessing a Members Gallery Through Their Profile

Is there any chance that a change can be made that would allow access to a members gallery from the poster's Profile? You can see all of his/her info except the gallery. A separate entry in the "Forum Info" area of a members profile that says "Members Gallery" would make it a snap.

I've just about given up on checking the gallery as it requires too many steps to get back and forth between the two areas. This would be a way to correct that problem.

I also agree. The addition to the drop down menu would certainly shorten up the steps of navigating the site. Overall, this is a great site compared to many. This would be an enhancement. Great suggestion Lynn.

Could you apply the frame GROUP MEMBERSHIP as a link to the persons gallery? bob?

i dont think i have ever seen anything in that block except this member is not a member of any group...

I'd hoped for a little more comment on this suggestion. Come on folks....wouldn't it be great if you could just role the pointer up to the persons name on each post, click, and see "Visit Carver's Gallery!"? I'll bet visits to the Gallery section would increase dramatically.

I'm going to have to defer to Rob on this one...I'm not that savvy when it comes to things like that!

I think it's a great idea, though! As it is, I go in every two weeks, click on the files uplaoded in the last two weeks...and check everythign out.

I just click on the Carver Galleries. At the top it shows "recent photos"

Then it says Welcome BobD <insert your username here>
To the right of that is a search bar, and below the search bar it says "Recent Photos 1day, 7days, 14 days, all"

Since I go in every two weeks (have a reminder set for myself) I click on 14 days...

I think it makes perfect sense to have a link through the user profile.
As a noob, I was a bit confused when it came to navigating the gallery, granted I haven’t use that section much and I am getting used to it.
Having a quick link like that would be great, for example being able to access a user gallery from a particular thread would be awesome, especially when I’m still learning who’s who here.
