Very nice Snipe. Used to hunt them as a kid. Never could hit one. Those that could were called snipers, a real compliment.

Very nice. There has been a Woodcock nesting in a place I hunt for about 3 years. I'm getting to know him pretty well. They are a very cool bird.

I use to hunt them with a bird dog too. When they get up the will go straight up a lot of the time. You did a great job on him. He looks real.

Beautiful job, Hugh. I've always had an interest in wild foul since a child. My great uncle carved wild foul back in the '50s and '60s. I just don't have the patience and steady hand needed to do the fine detail of the feathers. Thanks for sharing.
